Whistlin' Dixie Retrievers
Herby Boyd began training retrievers in 1993.
Since then he has trained over 180 dogs for hunting, retrieving on land & water and upland hunting. Herby was one of the founders of Coastal Empire HRC in Georgia. He is a licensed AA, HRC Started, Seasoned, Finished and Upland judge. Herby was one of the Grand Judges in the 2004 Fall HRC Grand Hunt Test in Bowie, Texas. In May 2005, Herby was a judge at 2005 Spring HRC Grand Hunt Test in Burlington, Wisconsin. He is an avid duck, dove, quail and pheasant hunter. Herby also serves as a guide for several hunting and shooting preserves in southeast Ga. He has owned and trained several of his own dogs to HRCH, HR, and Upland titles.
